Champagne house takes over Pichon-Lalande: Rouzaud family buys controlling stake in second-growth chateau

The Rouzaud family, which owns Champagne house Louis Roederer, has finalized a deal with the family that owns Chateau Pichon-Longueville-Lalande, thus acquiring a majority share in the super second-growth. Although the Rouzauds reveal that there would be no immediate changes in the chateau, Bordeaux market is expecting a change in Pichon-Lalande's prices.
