George Howell's quest
Article Abstract:
George Howell, co-founder of Cup of Excellence, an online auction following a marathon cupping session of a particular country's best coffee, is a pioneer in the specialty coffee world. He believes that the soil, variety, elevation and the quality of the growing conditions all contribute to the making of a unique flavor of a great cup of coffee and favours storing the beans in vacuum-packed Mylar bags instead of the customary jute bags as the brew made from frozen beans beans sparkle with the famed bright acidity and flavor.
