Good news, bad news from Chile
Article Abstract:
Chilean wines have been improving in quality. The industry was first noted as a source for cheap, varietal wines and investments in wine making technology and technique have produced vastly superior wines. However, prices for these wines have increased. Red Bordeaux-style wines continue to be popular. The results of tastings of noted Chilean wines are presented.
