Wonderful old Italian wines include the 1931 Giacomo Borgogno Barolo Riserva Speciale and 1945 and 1955 Biondi-Santi Brunello di Montalcino. A wine auction held at Christie's on Jul 4, 1996, offered over 100 cases of great wines from Piedmont and Tuscany. Prices are also discussed.
