JAPAN: MYOJO'S NEW SOUPS

Myojo Foods has introduced its Myojo Ingredient Rich Soup line in two varieties - Clam Chowder and Minestrone. The milk-based Clam Chowder contains five vegetables, asari clams and bacon. The Minestrone contains pasta eight vegetables, garlic, basil, ripe tomatoes, and olive oil. Both soups are packaged in 250-gram retort pouches, and are priced at [yen] 260 per pouch.

Iron-fortified prunes which are 2.5 times bigger than regular prunes and sweeter as well have been introduced by Rokko Butter under the name QBB Large Prunes. JAPAN: NAGANO TOMATO'S NEW TOMATO JUICE

In a nationwide launch, Nagano Tomato, which has developed an ideal tomato variety for processing, the NT604, which has a good sweetness and acidity balance, has introduced 100% tomato juice made from this variety. It comes in a 190-gram can, in a 340-gram can, and in a no-added salt variety in a 190-gram can.
