Mapping wine's benefits

Article Abstract:

Scientific studies have shown that moderate consumption of wine is beneficial to health, its positive effects can be summarized in relation to the specific parts of the body where the benefits are found. A body map is presented that focuses on the various organs and systems that show health benefits associated with moderate wine consumption.

Grapegrowers feel the heat: Global warming may affect where wine grapes can grow

Article Abstract:

A July 2006 study reports that the current pace of global warming may lead to a reduction of the United States's total grapegrowing area by 81% by the end of 21st century. Grapegrowers are contemplating of breeding heat-tolerant breeds species of vine to counter the negative effects of global warming.

Wineries and UPS dispute destruction of wine shipments to West Virginia

Article Abstract:

The UPS destroys wine shipments if they pass through states that ban shipments of alcoholic beverages from out-of-state producers to consumers. Their practice is based on the growing scrutiny of Internet sales.
