More GM food pledges
Article Abstract:
German frozen food company Frosta is to take genetically modified ingredients out of its foods, which include the Vital range of soya burgers and pasta dishes. The company will also avoid GM processing aids. Until now Frosta has labelled some of its products as containing GM soya. Other companies in Germany trying to remove GM ingredients include the subsidiary of UK retailer Marks & Spencer, the frozen foods group McCain and some baby food manufacturers.
