Mr. Big Stuff: Charles Klatskin lets his presence be known, both on the auction floor and in the world of magnum collecting
Article Abstract:
Wine collector Charles Klatskin has an extensive collection of wines. He is a real estate agent who is not afraid of drinking some of the expensive wines he buys. His preference to buy magnum-size or larger bottles is reflected in the fact that half of his 1,200-case collection is that size. He believes that larger bottles of wine last longer than the smaller bottles.
