The California Wine Experience: From Arnold to Zinfandel

The California Wine Experience, the annual event that debuted in San Francisco in 1981, was held in California during October 19 to 21, 2006 to explore the evolution of California wine. The event witnessed an unannounced visit by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, awards for wine-friendly restaurants and top quality wines, eagerly awaited wine tastings with varieties of Pinot Noir including California Syrah, Zinfandel, and selection of top wines from Oregon and Washington.

New York wine experience

Article Abstract:

The New York Wine Experience was marked with diversity and rewarded devoted wine lovers with some once-in-a-life-time tastings. The event, which was attended by the superstars of the wine world, raises funds for the Wine Spectator Scholarship Foundation.

California Wine Experience in New York

A description is presented of events at the three day California Wine Experience which took place in New York, NY, in 2000. 22,000 bottles of wine were sampled by 4,400 wine lovers. An emphasis was placed on Californian wine.
