Three times is a charm: Alsace caps a trio of fine harvests with elegant whites in 2002

Article Abstract:

The wine region, Alsace, presents a trio of impressive vintages with successful harvests in 2000, 2001 and 2002 offering some of the purest and elegant wines with high sugar maturity and high acidity levels. Wine maker, Marc Hugel believes that Riesling was the most successful variety in 2002 because of its late maturation and adaptability to the cold weather.
