When winemakers become criminals: states toughen up laws against mail-order shipping of wine

Wine makers are still trying to go beyond prohibition laws and many consumers are still not aware that it is illegal to order wines by mail. States are increasing their enforcement of prohibition laws to the frustration of the wine industry and wine consumers.

Rare Bordeaux cache bought in San Diego

An award-winning restaurant, The WineSellar & Brasserie, purchased a $50,000 lot of wine that includes a case of 1947 Cheval Blanc. The wine, part of a bankruptcy sale, came in perfect condition from a collector.
