Where's Waldo's wine? Leaking out

Article Abstract:

Wine stored improperly can result in ullage, or an expansion of the gap between the cork and the wine. Vintner Lalou Bize-Leroy cites wine being stored in a site too cold for the humidity as the reason for ullage in bottles of her wine.

The problems faced due to the improper corks and defective screw cap products are presented. The old model corks are more reliable than the new one, because it had a paper and cork lining.

Is it real? Or is it pretentious?

The practice of rinsing wine glasses with a very small amount of the wine to be served in them is discussed. It is argued that this technique enlivens the scent of the wine.
