Wine rounds
Article Abstract:
A medical internist shares how one of his medical school teachers gave an annual lecture on wine. These lectures were the beginning of his wine education, and he still counts the teacher among his friends. The teaching he remembers most is that the best wine in the world is the one that has special meaning to the drinker.

Wine in the wilds
Article Abstract:
A fishing trip to Mongolia was highlighted by a dozen bottles of fine wine consumed in the outdoors with fresh fish, game, and native dishes. A 1961 Pierre Ponnelle Musigny was enjoyed with grilled elk, and a 1988 Domaine de la Romanee-Conti La Tache complimented fresh bear tenderloin.
