A Cahors revival: an ancient wine of France

Article Abstract:

The Cahors region of France produced some of the best wine during Medieval times, but by the 1300s, the wines of the Bordeaux region had achieved more prominence. Cahors wines are enjoying a resurgence in popularity, as the grapes that make the dark wines were regrown and cultivated.

The return of the native Missouri's vintage grape

Article Abstract:

A native American grape, Norton, was once planted heavily in the Missouri Ozarks, and this grape made a promising red wine. All but a few acres were replaced with Concord grapes during Prohibition. Today, Stone Hill Winery is still producing this good wine.
