The Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) 25 was given a performance test like an automobile. The 24,470-lb vehicle traverses almost any terrain and seats a driver, a gunner and a commander, and can hold up to six scouts in the rear. GM-Canada made the vehicle and the Diesel V-6 is by Detroit Diesel Allison.
