Article Abstract:

The cookbook, 'Fast and Flexible Low Cost Recipes for a Family or Fifty,' was created to assist limited-resource audiences and emergency feeding programs in planning and preparing nutritious, safe and tasty foods. The recipes require no special equipment and use low-cost ingredients. The recipes are basic and are flexible enough to be used with commodity or donated foods. In addition, they are appropriate for home or quantity production.

Nestle Infant Feeding Bibliography

The 'Nestle Infant Feeding Bibliography is a database of more than 3000 references on infant feeding. About 150 publishers are included with references dating back from the early 1970s to 1994. Among these are the 'Journal of the American Medical Association,' 'New England Journal of Medicine' and 'Pediatrics.' Topics covered include health, growth, infant feeding-related diseases and breastfeeding.

Feeding young children in group settings: using scenarios for staff development

Several scenarios are presented to help nutrition educators teach staff members at schools and day care centers how to handles groups of children during mealtimes. These scenarios could be used as the basis of workshop discussions.
