A young Chenin Blanc or Riesling goes well with a dinner salad in the summer. Good inexpensive Rieslings include a 1995 Chateau Ste Michelle Johannisberg Riesling and a 1994 Hogue Cellars Columbia Valley, both at $6. Several other wines are recommended.
