Sunny-side up: Australian reds for the February blues

Article Abstract:

Australian wines have a rich, ripe flavor. Australia's most important red wine grape is the Shiraz, originally from France's Rhone Valley, with Cabernet Sauvignon also favored. A blend of the two is often made. A listing, with prices, of favored wines, including varital blends, is given.

Italy is known to produce the best tasting wines around the world because of the region's rich viticulture and hundred acres of vineyards. The Greeks introduced viticulture to Campania, Italy and now the region is already producing some of the most soughtafter wines in the empire.
