Wood components add 'dimension' to processing; the industry is becoming more specialized as more furniture and cabinet manufacturers begin outsourcing the making of wood component parts

Article Abstract:

The wood component industry is adding new dimensions to its image by offering value-added wood products to a great variety of industrial markets. Rough dimension manufacturers have specialized in the manufacture of wood products such as laminated and solid squares, furniture parts and edge-glued panels. Wood component manufacturers are serving the needs of various markets such as furniture, decorative/specialty, building products and industrial products.
