Ferguson, 35, killed six people and wounded 19 on a New York train on Dec 7, 1993. The killer, who had a privileged upbringing in Jamaica, is being defended by William Kunstler and Ron Kuby. The defense is that Ferguson is insane as a result of a racist society.

Mark Rothko, born Marcus Rothkowitz in 1903, is famous for his abstract paintings that express a methaphysical magic of colors and light. His works will be featured in Washington DC's National Gallery of Art in May 1998. Rothko killed himself in 1970.
