Crossing paths

Article Abstract:

The life of the old parents of Elizabeth especially her father who used to lose and forget things is discussed. Her young daughter used to play with him, he suffered from Alzheimer's disease and it seemed that her daughter's brain and her father's brain had crossed on their ways to opposite sides of life.

Crossing the color line

A young black woman recalls her experiences as she was growing up in Southern California and tells of her struggle in fighting racism. The civil rights movement has not eased her struggle. This has made her realize that she must be strong in her fight for cultural recognition and acceptance in society.
