Our night to howl

Article Abstract:

Normal people are sometimes caught in extraordinary circumstances. A couple's neighbors begin to avoid them after they were seen howling. The couple had been trying to get the neighbor's dog to resume barking to justify their call to the neighbors, complaining of the dog's bothersome barking.

Moths: butterlies of the night

Article Abstract:

Moths can be both destructive and productive. Although some species damage crops, there are those which are used for weed control. These relatives of butterflies are also important to the natural cycle. They help in pollen transfer and are, unfortunately, food for larger animals.

Murmansk, Russia was a well-developed frontier city in the 1960s and 1970s with its thriving oil and fishing industry. Like other places in the former USSR, the city now suffers from food shortages.
