Is teacher inconsistency hindering education?
Article Abstract:
The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 requires state schools to only allow highly qualified teachers to fill 100% of their core classrooms. The high compliance of schools makes it possible for some states to have set the bar low, but no state had reached the 100% requirement. Finding the best way to determine a distinction level level for teachers is still an ongoing debate.
