Conflict and the dynamic organization
Article Abstract:
Success in business management is determined by the ability of managers and employees to adapt with drastic changes and their efficiency in identifying and resolving conflicts. Typically, conflicts arise from discord in organizational structure, presence of stress and human factor and personal accountability. These problems can be addressed by fostering enhanced communication among managers and employees. However, it must be noted that not all conflicts are detrimental. Some are constructive since they contribute to the development and growth of the firm.

Successful negotiation in business management can be achieved through proper planning and efficient implementation. It must be emphasized that planning negotiations requires a detailed assessment of opportunities, recognition of appropriate environment and identification of other parties' preferences and needs. In conducting negotiations, entrepreneurs must be able to project a credible image and foster harmonious relationship not only with external customers but to internal members, as well.
