Ethical issues in testing for differential sensitivity to occupational hazards
Article Abstract:
The desirability of preventive health strategies for workers should take into consideration the ethical implications that the research might cause. Orderly development of worker hypersusceptibilities should be studied to see what legal, psychological and social problems might be imposed during and after testing procedures.

Occupational exposure to the cotton defoliants DEF and merphos: a rational approach to monitoring organophosphorous-induced delayed neurotoxicity
Article Abstract:
The organophosphorus defoliants, S,S,S,-Tributylphosphorotrithioate (DEF) and merphos are studied for their delayed neurotoxicity. Measurements were taken of workers in cotton fields, the results showed no subclinical effect, but there was an increase in neurotoxic esterase (NTE) among workers.
