Leading change, overcoming chaos - making change succeed in your organization
Article Abstract:
The change efforts of organizations often result in unsatisfactory results because they lack a vision. A compelling vision is what guides companies through the process of transformation and leads them to their goals. Developing a vision requires the participation of members. The vision should be achievable, memorable and compelling enough to withstand opposition. However, a vision is only effective when it it translated into action. The translation process is often long and complex, and thus requires strong leadership and the full support of management.
