Advertisements for a new healthcare product featured Pat Keegan, a resident of Boston, MA and a survivor of cancer. Keegan is one of two people selected among 25 nominees to promote Dana-Farber/Partners CancerCare, which results from a collaboration between Brigham & Women's Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Massachusetts General Hospital. Through intermingling radio and television commercials, Keegan talks about her life, passions, and the concurrent bouts of lung and brain cancer that she both survived.

TV spots promote children's health insurance

The American Health Assn, Health Care Financing Administration, March of Dimes and ABC Network-affiliated station WJLA-TV have collaborated on a television campaign to promote enrollment by all eligible families in the government's low-cost, $24-billion Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). The ad campaign aims to encourage low and moderate income families to seek information about CHIP. The goal is to identify children who might already be eligible for Medicaid or coverage through CHIP.
