Article Abstract:

Nurses have a vital role to play in caring for patients with cancer, as they can take over some traditional diagnostic procedures resulting in quicker diagnosis and improved patient care. Some of the ways in which nurses are improving patient care in this extensive specialty are highlighted.

Article Abstract:

Maggie's Centre in Dundee that is a new day-care centre in Scotland offers support for people with cancer and their families. The staff at the day-care centre use a more homely approach in treating and caring for people with cancer.
