Changing course ; OSHA'S new tack on safety and health audits will bring comfort and concern to employers

Article Abstract:

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration's new policy will do away with requests for voluntary self-audit reports and the use of audit information for a "willful" violation. Penalty reductions will be given to those who volunteer self-audits and correct problems promptly.
