Combined tetanus, diphtheria, and 5-component pertussis vaccine for use in adolescents and adults

Article Abstract:

The immunogenicity and reactogenicity of a tetanus-diphtheria 5-component acellular pertussis vaccine (Tdap) in adolescents and adults is assessed. The results indicated that this Tdap vaccine elicited robust immune responses in adolescents and adults to pertussis, tetanus, and diphtheria antigens, while exhibiting an overall safety profile similar to that of a licensed Td vaccine.

Effect of orlistat on weight and body composition in obese adolescents: A randomized controlled trial

Article Abstract:

The efficacy and safety of orlistat in weight management of adolescents is determined. The results revealed that in combination with diet, exercise, and behavioral modification, orlistat statistically significantly improved weight management in obese adolescents compared with placebo.
