Physicians should adapt to new market-driven changes in the healthcare industry by managing their practice more efficiently. Physicians should consider the entire medical profession from an economic perspective and document the effectiveness of their practice so that they can negotiate better managed care contracts. Several investment banks and venture capitalists are willing to finance group practices and physician networks, which could further help negotiate more favorable managed care contracts.

How to take a comprehensive view of sexual health

Article Abstract:

Physicians can help ensure that their patients are sexually healthy by opening up a discussion about sexual behavior and attitudes. Several hypothetical questions from doctors are asked and answered. Physicians might wonder if they would lose patients by offending them while trying to assist them towards sexual health, which is a part of overall health and might be affected by drugs or emotional problems. The best solution is to let the patients set the discussion limits.
