Epigenetics Is Seen as Possible Key to Cloning
Article Abstract:
Genetic imprinting may be one reason so many cloned animals grow larger than normal. Imprinting means the animal only has one functional copy of a gene instead of two. Animals that only have one copy of the gene for insulin-like growth factor receptor would have excess insulin-like growth factor. This would make them grow larger than normal.

Helsinki Discord? A Controversial Declaration
Article Abstract:
The fifth Declaration of Helsinki is controversial because it recommends that new treatments be tested against the best current treatment rather than a placebo unless there is no accepted treatment. The phrase 'best current treatment' is also open to interpretation. Developing countries may not be able to provide the same care as in the US.
