Article Abstract:

The development and performance of the specialist nurse that was recruited to establish and manage a nurse-led service to manage heart failure is evaluated. Nurse-led initiatives can definitely make dramatic improvements to patients' lives as well as to families, thus specialist nurse programmes should be implemented along with a cardiac rehabilitation programme for the client group.
