The observers in the pharmaceutical industry believe that the executed Chinese drug czar Zheng Xiaoyu was corrupted by a bad system. The State Food and Drug Administration (SDFA) are trying to centralize and standardize approval and its new regulations are a step in the right direction as it has transparency, accountability, checks and balances.

UK autism fracas fuels calls for peer review reform
Article Abstract:
Scientists have retracted their 1998 interpretation of results linking autism to the combined measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine. The insufficient robust peer reviews had fueled the autism fracas and under the new rules peer reviews would be legally regulated.
