Push under way to renew ban on assault weapons
Article Abstract:
The reduced number of high-power assault weapon crimes is due to the 10-year U.S. federal ban on such weapons. Although the Bush administration supports renewing the ban in 2004, the Congress has stalled all efforts to effect the same.
