Medicare recipients targeted by HMO marketing campaigns
Article Abstract:
Legislative changes in the Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 1982 now allow health maintenance organizations to be reimbursed for Medicare beneficiaries. It is expected there will be an all-out advertising and marketing campaign to get th elderly to signup for HMOs.
