Article Abstract:

Symptoms of stress urinary incontinence are not always an accurate predictor of incontinence. In a study of 950 women with symptoms of incontinence, urodynamic tests revealed that a small percentage did not have stress urinary incontinence.

Article Abstract:

The mesh that is used during surgery to correct vaginal prolapse may break down faster if a sacral colpoperineopexy is done rather than an abdominal sacral colpopexy. Vaginal prolapse occurs sometimes after a hysterectomy when the top of the vagina sags due to lack of support.
