Pyruvate: does it amp endurance and burn more fat?

Article Abstract:

Pyruvate is available as a dietary supplement. Pyruvate is recommended to athletes because it amplifies exercise performance and enhances fat loss. Foods high in pyruvates include red apples, cheese, dark beer and red wine.

Weight trainers do need more protein: couch potatoes need less

Article Abstract:

A study conducted in Canada resolved doubts whether weight trainers, bodybuilders and strength athletes need more protein than sedentary individuals. Results indicated that the bodybuilding group needed nore protein.

Chromium's twin effects

Bodybuilders can increase muscle mass and decrease bodyfat by taking chromium supplements. Other benefits from chromium supplementation include lower blood cholesterol and healthier blood-sugar levels.
