Skin conditions: over-the-counter remedies
Article Abstract:
The number of people suffering from skin conditions has grown rapidly in recent years, possibly because of poorly ventilated, centrally heated homes and the increase in pollution. Over-the-counter remedies are widely available for treating skin conditions such as nappy rash, psoriasis and eczema. Creams may cause an allergic reaction and simple products without lanolin or perfume should initially be used, with both emulsifying ointments and aqueous creams available without prescription. Ointments are greasy and should usually be applied at night while creams are recommended for daytime use.

The hearth facts
Article Abstract:
A capital repayment mortgage involves paying off the loan and the accruing interest. An endowment mortgage involves paying off only the interest and investing money which will be used to pay off the loan after a set time. Mortgage holders also need to pay for a life insurance policy. Mortgage rates vary considerably so it is worthwhile looking for the best offers. Fixed-rate mortgages and cash-back deals are also available. People need to find whether redemption penalties apply, ensure the mortgage can be transferred to other properties, and determine if extra insurance is needed.

Pain relief in childbirth: the debate still rages about the most effective way to ease the pain of childbirth
Article Abstract:
Recent studies have emphasized the frustration experienced by patients with the way health professionals sometimes underestimate the pain they are in with regard to childbirth. The article looks at the trends in pain management and the emphasis on pharmacological methods. Complete pain relief does not always mean a satisfying birth experience, according to some research, and there is a lack of agreement on the most appropriate pain relief regimes to use.
