The effect of training on the provision of elective abortion: a survey of five residency programs

Article Abstract:

Obstetricians and gynecologists are most likely to perform abortions if they did so while they were residents, especially if they did their residency at a university hospital. This was the conclusion of a survey of 161 OB-GYNs. Hospitals that have an obstetrics-gynecology program should train all residents to perform abortions.
