Organisational change: kinetic theory and organisational resonance
Article Abstract:
Organizational change is triggered by individuals, and analogies have been depicted across the interactions between such change catalysts and the kinetic theory of gases. The change interactions can be correlated to those of particles or molecules within a gas, in which kinetic energy is carried through a course of encounters. By proceeding with this approach, it is likely to elicit a course of established laws that govern the conduct of the gas, and which can be rendered back into organizational theory. The kinetic approach agrees that change is innately dynamic in nature as organizations should be capable of assimilating change while advancing.

Taking stock
Article Abstract:
About 63% of the more than 10 million tons required by UK industries in 1995 were supplied by steel suppliers or stockholders instead of steel manufacturers. This is because steel producers are manufacturing steel at specific sizes and quantities while stockholders are performing the decoiling, slitting and cutting to length for the steel users to comply with Just-in-Time requirements. This results into lower costs for the customers. The National Assn. of Steel Stockholders provides a list of its members free of charge to steel users.

The joke's on them
Article Abstract:
An inside look at the operation of a chicken and egg factory will convince anyone to become a vegetarian. The callous methods by which the birds, both chicks and adults, are handled are some of the most glaring examples of animal cruelty ever practised.
