Rebecca Lynn Hammon, nicknamed Becky, a basketball player was born on March 11, 1977 in Rapid City, South Dakota. She joined the Women's National Basketball association (WNBA) in 1999 and helped the New York Liberty reach the WNBA finals in 1999, 2000, and 2002, sure-shooting backup point guard.
