Jerome Groopman, Physician and writer
Article Abstract:
Jerome E. Groopman is the chief of experimental medicine and director of the AIDS oncology program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and is also director of the Robert Mapplethorpe Laboratory for AIDS Research. He has conducted seminal research to find ways to improve the immune systems of those with AIDS and to treat AIDS related cancers, including Kaposi's sarcoma, which afflicts a large percentage of AIDS patients.

Brooks and Dunn, Country music duo

Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn are the best-selling country-music duo that teamed up in 1991. They have won 19 Academy of Country Music Awards, two Grammy Awards, the Country Music Association's duo-of-the-year award for eight consecutive years, and many awards from TNN/Music City News, Billboard, Blockbuster, BMI and the magazine Country Weekly.
