Sean O'Keefe, Administrator of NASA born in Louisiana on January 27, 1956 heads the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. He became the 10th head of the agency, in December 2001, having spent a large part of his career in preparing budgets and other financial matters for divisions of the federal government and military, and the department of defense.
