The life and work of Susan Graham, an opera singer are discussed. In 1997, Graham gained much wider recognition after the release of her debut solo recording, a collection of works by Berlioz that included the song cycle Les Nuits d'Ete, with the orchestra of the Royal Opera House conducted by John Nelson.

Heppner, Ben

Canadian-born Heppner is now considered the world's foremost heroic tenor. He attended Toronto Opera School and received his first break with the Guelph, ON, Spring Festival in 1986. He has performed Heldentenor roles with many great operas and created the title role in William Bolcom's 'McTeague.'
