Electrical engineer Jerome B. Wiesner died on Oct. 21, 1994 at his home in Watertown, MA. He experimented on radio and acoustics during the late 1930s and also dabbled in various areas such as high fidelity sound production, radiation and radar. He was the special presidential assistant for science and technology during the Kennedy administration.

Bertram Thomas Combs was found dead Dec 4, 1991, in the Red River (KY). Combs was a lawyer and former Democratic governor of Kentucky. Combs died while driving home from his law office under flood conditions.
