Article Abstract:

Jody Williams is best known for her efforts to clear the earth of land mines. She and her movement, the International Campaign to Ban Landmines, won the Nobel Peace prize for leading a move that helped create a treaty between 90 countries, that stops the production, deployment and sale of land mines.
