Ashton-Potter emerges as a multi-national stamp printer
Article Abstract:
Ashton-Potter Ltd, founded in 1933, began in 1970 to produce stamps for the Canadian Crown Corp, later to become Canada Post Corp. It did 70% of the stamp printing trade and had a US subsidiary. Bought by MDC Corp after overexpansion and bankruptcy in 1993, it won back 45% of the work in 1995.

Article Abstract:
Easter celebrations use secular practices and symbols that predate the Christian rite. Symbols such as rabbits and Easter hats have been featured on postage stamps. Some of the non-Christian symbols such as the Easter egg, and the early history of the celebration in the US, are discussed.
