Rock hunting near the Camp Verde salt mines in Phoenix, AZ, is an arduous task because of the heat and the dry air. Rock hounds should dress in comfortable clothes and bring enough water provisions. Nevertheless, the hunt is fulfilling because the site abounds with pseudomorphs.
