The Flying Lady is a 62-year-old houseboat yacht that was successfully renovated at Huckins Yacht Corp. An original Trumpy boat, with hull number 233, it is now owned by Richard and Donna Rieling of Houston, TX, who acquired the boat in 1998 for $310,000.

An important rule to consider when deciding to repair or maintain a boat while at sea is the 'first, do no harm' rule. Minor problems such as leaks and bent connections should be left alone instead of being repaired and resulting to bigger problems.
